FAQs

FAQs

Can I get a refund for my ticket?

Afraid not, tickets are non-refundable; however, if you really cannot make it for a valid reason they are transferable. Simply contact our ticketing partner sites Eventbrite and Insider

What happens when I arrive?

Your purchase confirmation includes a secret code for each ticket you have purchased. When you get on site, each ticket holder must provide their ticket code or have their e-ticket to exchange for their general admission wristband.

Are there any age limits?

Yes! Due to licensing issues we have to make this an over 18 event. We hope in future years to add a kiddy friendly area but this year I’m afraid it is all about the grown ups. We wouldn’t recommend it because of noise levels and rough terrain, but if you need to bring along any teeny weenies that’s OK.

Are there different types of tickets available for GOAT?

Indeed there are but we think the best way to experience GOAT is to get fully involved for the full three days and nights. However, we appreciate there may be circumstances in which guests may want to purchase just one or two days and there may be some wishing to upgrade to a more luxurious experience. To that end we offer the following options:

VIP Weekend Pass: VIP ticket includes access to our backstage lounge area and general swankiness. Featuring special guest DJs.

Weekend Pass: Access to all three days day and night venues.

Day Pass: Access to one day only (Friday, Saturday or Sunday)

FAQS Travel and Accommodation

Where can I stay?

There are heaps of places to stay within walking distance of the festival site to suit all tastes and budgets. We suggest you book way in advance to get the best spot. Click here for nearby accommodation

Can I Camp?

Afraid not. There are no camping facilities on our beautiful site so please don’t turn up with your tent and camping stove! We would not recommend wild camping on the beaches either. If you are on a budget there are some super-cheep beach shacks available.

What is the best transport method?

The best way to get around is by cab. The taxis are cheap and in abundance. We do not recommend hiring a moped / motorbike. As temping as it may be, the roads can be very dangerous with so many bikes and many accidents occur each year.

Coming from abroad?

The best way to get to Goa by flight is flying into to Mumbai or Delhi. The internal flights from there are painless, super cheap and there are flights every 20 minutes with a choice of domestic airlines.

Do I need a visa?

PLEASE CHECK YOUR VISA REQUIREMENTS BEFORE FLYING! We do not want any guests being turned away at customs not having the necessary entry requirements. Generally speaking you WILL need a visa coming from abroad. See official Indian Visa page https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html

Do I need jabs to visit the region?

Generally people traveling from abroad should be up-to-date with yellow fever, typhoid and hepatitis A.

Where Can I Park?

There is a large free car park close to the festival which will be well sign posted. Stewards and security will be highly visible to guide you in. We do encourage you to walk to the site or share a taxi when ever you can to keep traffic levels down.

Taxi Drop Off?

Again, in a bid to reduce congestion around the festival site there is a taxi drop off point about 5 mins walk from the main site.

Is there a useful tourism website?

Please visit http://www.goatourism.gov.in for the official information regarding visiting Goa.

Can I reenter the site once I have left?

As long as you have your wristband you can leave and come back as many times as you like!

Will there be wifi?

Yes there will be wifi but hopefully there will be lots to distract you from phones and laptops.

What do I do if there is an emergency?

Please try and inform a member of staff straight away.  We will have first aid on site but for anything else the emergency services number is 100.
